How does planning permission affect a renovation or conversion project? Is the process the same as building a house? Find out more here........
The planning permission process is very similar to the process used when building a house from scratch with outline permission and detailed planning permission both being submitted, if required - this will be determined by the type of work you are looking to complete and it is always best to discuss your ideas with the local planning authority.
You will also need to have building control involved in your project to ensure that your building meets the current requirements.
