Corbels
Corbels are decorative items, used at the top of a wall, often in conjunction with quoins. The corbel sits above the last quoin, but below the watertabling as shown in the image below.
Your local builders merchant usually has access to stone of this kind and it can be cheaper to purchase through your merchant rather than going direct to the stone supplier.
Don't forget - for some projects you can also reclaim your vat.
